How to apply

Embassy/consulate

Apply through the US Embassy or Consulate in your country.

Application process

You must:

  • Complete Form DS-160 online

  • Pay the visa fee

  • Schedule and attend an interview

  • Submit fingerprints

Supporting documents may include:

  • Proof of sufficient funds

  • Accommodation details

  • Evidence of strong ties to your home country
